Chrissy Teigen has set her Twitter account to private.
The model, cookbook author, TV host and wife of John Legend has switched her account settings to protect her tweets. Only those she approves can now see what she writes.
Teigen is an active user of the micro-blogging site, taking to Twitter to talk politics, talk about body image post-childbirth, admit to opening Rihanna's mail (she lives in her former home) and defending Kim Kardashian following the robbery in Paris.
Her outspoken views have also attracted no small amount of haters but Teigen insists that's not why she's gone private on Twitter.
"It's not haters or trolls or generally mean people. I just feel like I am absorbing bad sh** 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore," Teigen tweeted.
