Chris Brown's girlfriend has advised him to avoid the Internet.

The “Fine China” singer, who collapsed at Record Plant recording studios in Hollywood and suffered a non-epileptic seizure in the early hours of Friday morning due to "emotional stress," has been encouraged to stay away from his online "haters" by his girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

A source told gossip website HollywoodLife.com: "He's trying real hard to stay positive, eat, sleep, exercise, and he's trying to stay off them websites and not pay attention to the haters and people with no lives of their own. Karrueche's been telling him that, and now I think he's got the point and is listening."

Chris is taking his girlfriend's advice on board and allegedly assured her that he knows he "can't control what they say about me, so f*** it -- Imma just let it be."

A spokesperson for Chris, 24, previously claimed his seizure was caused by his intense fatigue and anxiety related to his recent hit-and-run legal troubles.

The publicist added: "His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity."

The incident came shortly after Chris, who spent 45 minutes in jail last week after his probation, stemming from his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, was revoked due to an alleged hit-and-run accident in Los Angeles in May, claimed he was "tired of being famous."
