A woman is dead after a weekend crash involving a semi. Emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 16 at Range Road 43 west of Edmonton at 2:05 p.m. on Monday. A 21-year-old woman who had been driving a Jeep was found dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, a gravel truck, had minor injuries. Police say the gravel truck was turning north onto Range Road 43 when it was hit by the Jeep. Alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors.
