One person has been charged in connection with a suspicious death north of Edmonton last month. Police responded to a report of a deceased man at a rural property north of Boyle, Alta., on Sept. 28. The death of 42-year-old Kevin Witney was deemed a homicide at autopsy. On Sunday a 32-year-old woman from Athabasca County was charged with second-degree murder in Witney’s death. She will appear in court in Boyle on Oct. 13. Boyle is about 150 kilometres north of Edmonton.
