A basketball camp for youth wrapped up on Sunday. Yaya Hoops offers basketball programming to underserved youth in Edmonton through Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Canada. “We come here just to give back to the community. create a safe environment for kids who may not be able to afford basketball academies but love the game,” said head coach Danny Ganza. “At the same time, create a safe environment for the kid to come and have a great time and learn a skill or two.” Programming was available for youth ages eight to 17 starting June 10 in partnership with ADRA Canada, Edmonton Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, and local community supporters.
