That shatters the previous record of 217 mm from June 1914. This is also now the second-wettest month on record, just behind July 1901 when 283 mm of rain hit Edmonton. There are more scattered showers and thunderstorms likely this week, but it won’t be as steady as the rain that fell over the weekend.
