A Vancouver man is $1 million richer thanks to a lottery ticket he bought in Edmonton last year. Jae Seong Bae was working in Edmonton last October when he bought a Lotto 6/49 ticket for the Oct. 11 draw with his groceries at the H Mart on Calgary Trail. Recently, the Vancouver resident checked the ticket and found it was a winner. “I was like, ‘Wow!’” he said in a news release. “You dream about it, but it happened!” “I had a fast heartbeat and a dizzy feeling,” he continued. “I was just unbelievably excited.” He plans to take some time off and travel to Europe with his winnings. Bae won the Gold Ball draw with the selection 29123594-01, a white ball. Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize.
