A red-level tornado warning is in effect as of 5:54 p.m. Friday for a storm about 20 kilometres southeast of Robb, Alta. The severe thunderstorm is producing large hail, intense rainfall and possibly a tornado. The storm cell is moving 20 km/h to the east. The warning from Environment and Climate Change Canada shows the risk areas in Yellowhead County near the communities of Cadomin and Robb. Anyone in the direct vicinity of the storm or just east of the storm cell should take cover immediately in a basement, interior room or a sturdy shelter.
