The largest driving range in Edmonton is looking to break golfers out of the winter blues with warmer temperatures expected this weekend. Canada Golf Card Driving Range is opening Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. “This is something that we’ve done every year for the last five years, but this is the earliest we ever opened and we’re breaking a record here,” said Jeff Ivanochko, co-founder of Canada Golf Card. In the last five years, the driving range’s earliest opening date was Feb. 23 – back in 2024. After extreme cold temperatures between -35 and -40 C last week, Ivanochko believes hardcore golfers deserve a nice break. “There’s nothing like getting outside, enjoying the sunshine and watching your ball fly.” Families can also check out a recent addition at the driving range, an Outdoor Mini Golf Course.
