Demolition work is the cause of an internet outage for some Telus customers in downtown Edmonton that started Tuesday. Multiple network cables were damaged by a contractor during demolition work late Tuesday evening, according to Telus. Home phone, TV services and internet services are affected, with wireless services working normally. “Due to the severity of the damage, service will be restored in phases, with some affected customers expected to have their services restored tonight,” according to the company. “We expect all affected services to be fully restored over the coming days.”
