A Saskatchewan woman was arrested following a crash with an RCMP cruiser in Lloydminster last week. Police say they were conducting routine patrol duties when a car crossed the center line and crashed into the cruiser at the intersection of 50 Avenue and 48 Street. After the crash, police say the woman fled the scene on foot. Officers located and arrested the woman after speaking with witnesses at the scene, said a statement issued Tuesday. The 36-year-old woman from Frog Lake, Sask., was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, operation of a vehicle while impaired and failing to remain at the scene of a collision. She was released on conditions and is to appear in court later this month. RCMP say the officer in the cruiser sustained minor injuries, was assessed at the hospital and was then released.
