Police are investigating a weapons complaint at a junior high school in Ermineskin. The junior high, as well as two other nearby schools, have been put on hold and secure status while RCMP investigate. During a hold and secure, all entrance doors to the school are locked and no one is allowed in or out of the building other than law enforcement. All students and staff are safe, said a news release from RCMP Thursday around 11:30 a.m. Police are asking members of the public to refrain from posting photos or videos as the investigation continues. An update will be provided once more information becomes available. Ermineskin is about 75 kilometres south of Edmonton.
