Edmonton property taxes are due Tuesday. The bills were sent out five weeks ago. Taxes this year are expected to generate more than $2.5 billion, which will be put toward public infrastructure and services. After a 6.9-per cent tax levy increase, homeowners are expected to pay $53 more than they did last year for every $100,000 in assessed home value. A home assessed at $492,500 will result in roughly a monthly $318 bill. Taxes can be paid at most banks, online banking, by mail or phone.
