A man was hospitalized after a stabbing in north Edmonton on Thursday morning. According to an Edmonton Police Service spokesperson, two men were arguing in the parking lot of the Canadian Tire at 96 Street and 162 Avenue around 9:30 a.m. when one of the men stabbed the other and rode off on a bicycle. A 64-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in stable condition. A 33-year-old man was taken into custody nearby. The parking lot was taped off while police investigated. Investigators do not believe the two men knew one another. Charges are pending.
