An Edmonton man’s pockets are full after winning $2.5 million on a Lotto 6/49 ticket that he bought on a whim. “I was shocked,” said Shojiro Yamamoto in a statement Thursday, adding that he only buys tickets occasionally. “I just bought a house, so this is perfect timing,” he said. Yamamoto bought his winning ticket from Kikit Convenience Store at 7542 178 Street in Edmonton. He won the Classic Draw with numbers 6, 25, 27, 34, 38 and 49. Another winner in Alberta also won the draw and the winnings were split.
