A man who was hit by an SUV a month ago has died. Police say a BMW X1 driven by a 20-year-old man failed to stop at a red light at 34 Street and 43 Avenue on Oct. 9 and hit an eastbound Honda CRV in the intersection. The SUV continued through the intersection, according to police, striking a 35-year-old man and 33-year-old woman crossing the road from the southwest corner. On Thursday, the 35-year-old man died of his injuries in hospital. The other pedestrian is expected to survive. Neither of the drivers reported injuries. According to an email from an Edmonton Police Service spokesperson, the investigation is ongoing and it has not been determined if charges will be laid.
