RCMP are asking certain Fort McMurray residents to check their property for damage after investigators uncovered what appears to be a string of fire damage and vandalism in a neighbourhood. Alberta Drive and Poplar Crescent has been the target of multiple vehicles and personal property being damaged from either fire or vandalism, Mounties say. Just after 10 a.m. on Saturday, RCMP were called to a fire involving a flat-deck trailer at a home on Alberta Drive. Investigators believe it may have been arson-related. Mounties say damages they’re aware of happened between midnight and 6 a.m. on Friday. They’re asking those living in the area to review any video surveillance footage on their properties and check for damages.
