A 23-year-old Fort McMurray man has been arrested after he allegedly approached children in a Fort McMurray park. RCMP said the man was reported to have approached the children playing near a skatepark in the Parsons Creek area at around 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The man was arrested and is facing four allegations of sexual interference. Sexual interference is the touching - directly or with an object - of a person under 16 for sexual purposes. The man’s name was not released, RCMP said, because a publication ban is expected. He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Fort McMurray on Sept. 2.
