A loaded handgun, cocaine and fentanyl were seized in Edmonton last week. RCMP and Edmonton police carried out a search warrant at the Aladdin Motel on 111 Avenue last Tuesday and arrested two people from Edmonton and one from Vancouver. Police seized 36 grams of fentanyl, nine grams of cocaine, a loaded 9mm handgun, ammunition and more than $1,500 in cash. They were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a firearm without a licence. They’re all in custody and scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
