Two men are facing multiple charges after guns, drugs and thousands of dollars in cash were seized from homes in Cold Lake and Bonnyville. On Thursday, RCMP said in a media release that the joint-effort investigation was targeting suspected drug trafficking in Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Elizabeth Métis Settlement, Cold Lake First Nation, and areas of Saskatchewan. Multiple RCMP detachments and the canine unit executed searches on the two homes, which yielded: A 48-year-old resident of Cold Lake was charged with 15 offences, including: He was remanded into custody and was scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Cold Lake on Wednesday. A 39-year-old Bonnyville resident was charged with five counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was released on conditions and was scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Cold Lake on Oct. 14.
