After a week of daytime highs (mostly) in the mid to upper teens, warmer air settles in for the rest of this week and most of next week. Edmonton should get seven to nine consecutive days with afternoon highs in the 20s. That string should start this afternoon. We’ll get to 20 C or 21 C under mainly sunny skies. Frost shouldn’t be an issue IN the city through the rest of the week. That said, there might be some patchy frost in outlying areas again Thursday morning. After that, even outlying areas should be frost-free through the end of the week and weekend. An upper ridge will hang out over central and southern Alberta for several days. So... we’ll stay sunny and temperatures will continue to climb this week. Daytime highs are forecast to be in the low to mid 20s from Thursday through Monday.
