Here’s how much rain fell this past weekend in Alberta

After weeks of rain, people in Edmonton and surrounding communities are being asked to limit their non-essential water usage.

Heavy rain over the June 20-21 weekend produced more than a month’s worth of rainfall for Edmonton.

The average June rainfall for Edmonton is 70 mm.

The city recorded 95 mm at Blatchford and 73 mm at the airport.

Some backyard stations around the city are reporting even higher totals.
