An early morning fire in the city’s core damaged two houses, the fire department said on Sunday. Edmonton Fire Rescue Services told CTV News Edmonton a fire that started at a house at 6 a.m. near 109A Avenue and 95 Street quickly spread to a neighbouring house, prompting a two-alarm call. Edmonton Fire said firefighters brought the blaze under control two hours later and reported no injuries.
