Fatal shooting in central Edmonton under investigation

Police say they're investigating the shooting death of a man in central Edmonton.

Police are looking for video footage in relation to a fatal shooting in central Edmonton on Wednesday.

Officers were called to 107 Avenue and 109 Street at 8:50 p.m. for reports of gunshots.

When they arrived on scene, they found an injured 42-year-old man outside an apartment building and administered first aid.

The man died at the scene.

An autopsy performed on Thursday found Andrew Donald McCabe died of a gunshot wound.

His death has been deemed a homicide.
