For one weekend in March, Edmontonians will witness an entire shopping mall transform into both a formal ballroom and a gigantic indoor art festival. The 29th annual Night of Artists Artwalk and Gala will return to Bonnie Doon Centre from March 13 to the 15. The mall will be converted into a ballroom setting for the Night of Artists Gala on Saturday, March 14, a fundraising event in support of Amy’s House. Amy’s House is an initiative that includes three homes providing free stays for families travelling to Edmonton undergoing cancer treatment. Bonnie Doon mall will then become a large indoor artwalk for the rest of the weekend, featuring thousands of artworks, demonstrations, sculpture installations from creators and live music.
