The Edmonton Elks will kick off the start of their season and the “quest” for the Grey Cup with a series of training camps. According to a press release, the Elks Rookie Camp will run from May 7-9 and the Elks Training Camp will begin on May 11. The CFL football team was last on the field in Oct. 2024. They ranked fourth in the west division last season and missed the playoffs with a record of 7 wins and 11 losses. Mark Killam was named as head coach for the Elks last December after the firing of Chris Jones in July 2024. The Rookie Camp roster will be sent out before the training session.
