2nd-degree murder conviction handed down in death east of Edmonton

An Edmonton woman has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of an Edmonton man two and a half years ago.

Edward Huberta Beharrell, 47, was found fatally shot at a rural home in County of Vermilion River in March 2024.

Sherry Skrenkowich, 65, was arrested at the home.

A sentencing date for Skrenkowich will be set on Tuesday at Court of King’s Bench in St. Paul, Alta.
