The Edmonton Police Service says the death of a woman in south Edmonton earlier this week was an intimate partner homicide. •The information you need to know, sent directly to you: Download the CTV News App A 30-year-old woman was found dead in a home at 95 Avenue and 91 Street on Tuesday. A 36-year-old man ran from the home when police were called and was later arrested, EPS said. A 62-year-old man who was at the house was also assaulted, but was not injured. The woman was identified as Erin Kern during an autopsy conducted Thursday. The medical examiner found she died of multiple stab wounds, and ruled her death a homicide. Drew Moore, 36, has been charged with second-degree murder in Kern’s death and attempted murder in connection with the assault on the man. He has also been charged with breaching a release order and breaching a probation order. Police are not looking for any other suspects.
