Someone in Alberta is $12.5-million richer after purchasing a winning Lotto Max ticket. Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) said in a news release the ticket was purchased within the province but somewhere outside of Edmonton and Calgary. The Lotto Max jackpot is $25 million, but there was another winning ticket in Quebec, so the prize will be shared, WCLC said. The winning numbers are 5, 15, 22, 24, 34, 37 and 49 and must be an exact match. The winner has a year to claim the prize. Tickets can be checked on the Lotto Spot app.
