TORONTO - Consumers are being warned to avoid a brand of cheese imported from England because of possible contamination from the Listeria bacterium.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Cropwell Bishop Creamery Finest Blue Stilton Cheese is sold nationally through Costco stores.

All sizes of the cheese bear a best before date of Dec. 12 and the CFIA says it is working with the importer to remove the cheese from stores.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with this product.

The CFIA is also warning consumers with allergies to milk to avoid SunRidge Farms Organic Dark Chocolate Raisins and Dark Chocolate Peanuts.

The products, which were distributed nationally, may contain milk which is not declared on the label.
