MIAMI -- Canadian teen Marc Wabafiyebazu appeared in a Miami court on Friday where he pleaded no contest in the killings of his brother and another man. Some key dates:
Jan 31, 2015: Brothers Jean Wabafiyebazu, 18, and Marc Wabafiyebazu, 14, move to Miami from Ottawa with their diplomat mother, Roxanne Dube.
March 18, 2015: Marc Wabafiyebazu turns 15.
March 30, 2015: Jean Wabafiyebazu and Joshua Wright, 17, are killed in a shootout in a Miami-area home. Marc Wabafiyebazu is arrested outside.
April 2, 2015: Dube, Canada's consul general to Miami, issues statement expressing condolences to Wright's family.
April 8, 2015: Florida prosecutors say they will present the case against Wabafiyebazu to a grand jury.
April 15, 2015: A grand jury indicts Wabafiyebazu as an adult on felony murder and other charges.
April 20, 2015: Wabafiyebazu pleads not guilty.
May 27, 2015: Wabafiyebazu asks for bail. A police officer testifies the teen had confessed to being part of an armed drug robbery gone bad.

July 31, 2015: Wabafiyebazu's lawyers appeal bail denial, argue purported confession "implausible."

Aug. 19, 2015: Appeal Court denies Wabafiyebazu bail.
Oct. 1, 2015: Anthony Rodriguez, 19, and Johann Ruiz-Perez, 21, also indicted for felony murder, plead guilty to drug charges in exchange for testifying against Wabafiyebazu. They are sentenced to 364 days in county jail, participation in a boot-camp program, and five years probation.
Nov. 30, 2015: A sources tells The Canadian Press a plea deal is under negotiation for Wabafiyebazu.
Feb. 19, 2016: Wabafiyebazu pleads no contest to four charges, including two of felony 3rd-degree murder. Gets conditional sentence.
