Police in Ontario have released security camera footage of a suspect violently robbing a senior citizen at a bank machine.
The video shows a man in a white T-shirt, shorts and sunglasses tussling with an 81-year-old woman before knocking her to the ground.
York Regional Police say he made off with cash.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Monday in Aurora, Ont., which is about 50 kilometres north of Toronto.
The woman was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’7” inches tall, with a medium build and short, dark hair cropped close on the sides.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
