Ottawa police say they're investigating what they believe to be a targeted, gang-related homicide.
Police say they were summoned to a street in the city's east end after reports of a shooting on Sunday night.
They say they found Mohamed Najdi suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Najdi, whose age was not released, was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Police say they have not yet made any arrests in the case and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
