ST. JOHN'S, N.L. -- The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says two patrons and a worker were detained at a St. John's bar during an armed robbery.
Investigators say a man and a woman walked into Steve's Twin Lounge on Ropewalk Lane early today armed with two weapons.
They say the three people inside the bar were forced to the back of the business while cash was taken.
The suspects, both believed to be in their 20s, fled through a back door.
The weapons used in the robbery were not disclosed.
Police say the man wore a dark-coloured hoodie and gloves, while the woman was dressed in light-coloured leggings and a light-coloured hoodie.
