SYDNEY, N.S. -- The case of a woman charged with attempted murder after her husband fell ill returns to a Nova Scotia court later this week.
Seventy-seven-year-old Melissa Ann Weeks is also charged with administering a noxious substance.
A bail hearing scheduled for yesterday in Sydney was adjourned until Friday.
Weeks was charged after her 75-year-old husband fell ill recently at a bed and breakfast in North Sydney.
Nicknamed the "Internet Black Widow," Weeks was convicted of manslaughter in 1992 in the death of a previous husband who she drugged and ran over twice with a car.
She also has convictions for fraud and forgery involving men she had relationships with.
