Police are investigating a road rage incident caught on a dash cam in Toronto, during which a baseball bat was used to damage one of the vehicles involved.

The complainant told investigators that the driver of a white Acura accused him of cutting him off while driving in downtown Toronto on Friday evening. The two drivers came to a stop at a red light on Toronto’s Lake Shore Boulevard, when the driver of the Acura got out of his car and allegedly attacked the other vehicle with a baseball bat.

According to the complainant, the driver of the Acura began hitting his vehicle with the bat, shattering his side mirror.

The dash cam footage shows a man approaching the other car with a baseball bat in his hands. He is partially visible as he appears to strike the other vehicle with the bat, before getting back into his car and driving off. The complainant’s broken side mirror is also visible in the video.

Police said they have not apprehended a suspect as they’re working to get both sides of the story.
