As expected, Wednesday was a slightly cooler but still pleasant day in Calgary with a high in the mid-teens Thursday will be similar with plenty of sunshine and a high of 14 C. A ridge of high pressure from the Pacific basin will push moisture across the southern half of British Columbia, including some mixed precipitation and snow in the higher elevations on the southeastern side of the province. Some of that snow will fall over the Alberta side of the Rockies late Thursday and early Friday, but behind that a warm, stable air mass will drive temperatures up over the next few days. On Monday, the daytime high in Calgary is expected to reach 24 C, compared to the normal high of 15 C. Overnight temperatures will sit in the high single-digits compared to the normal lows of 2 C.
