The weather in Calgary will be pretty active on Tuesday

Tuesday will be pretty active and Wednesday unsettled before a stable Thursday and Friday. Then, the weekend will get wet again.

Tuesday will be pretty active.

Expect a mix of sun and cloud early in the morning in Calgary.

Then, the clouds will increase later in the morning.

By 1 p.m., isolated showers will start to creep into the city, and there is the risk of thunderstorms.

As this happens, the temperature will quickly drop from 20 C to 14 C, and the winds will start to gust.

The cool wind out of the northwest will gust to at least 60 km/h.

It will be less intense but still unsettled on Wednesday with the chance of isolated on/off showers throughout the day in the city and a small risk of a thunderstorm.

It will also still be a little windy.

Thursday and Friday will be stable, but the system coming in for the weekend will likely kick in some showers Friday night and carry through Saturday.

Because the rain will be pretty consistent, 10-15 millimetres is possible.
