Suspects sought in extortion-related vehicle vandalism: Calgary police

Calgary police have released photos of two people believed to be responsible for damaging three parked vehicles last Friday in an incident thought to be connected to a series of extortions targeting the city’s South Asian community.

The vehicles were parked in the 300 block of Skyview Parkway N.E. when they were damaged, at roughly 5:15 a.m. on June 12, police said.

The same location saw an extortion-related shooting on March 4.

Investigators are searching for two suspects and a grey Ford Expedition.

They say the first suspect was wearing a black jacket, black pants and white shoes.

The second was wearing a coral-coloured hoodie, a black jacket, blue jeans and black shoes with a green logo.
