Calgary police say speed is being investigated as a factor in a rollover on Crowchild Trail on Wednesday afternoon. Police say the Ford F-150 was travelling east on the ramp from Crowchild Trail to southbound Stoney Trail N.W. when the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. The truck came to rest on its roof, and the driver, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police say neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to be involved. Anyone with additional information about the incident is asked to call police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
