Gunfire from one vehicle at another in southwest Calgary last week sent a stray bullet into a nearby home, police say. The incident happened on May 26, just after 2 a.m., near Silverado Drive and Silverado Plains Link S.W. Police say multiple shots were fired and at least one round struck the target vehicle before both vehicles were driven away. During the shooting, police say one bullet hit a home’s front window and another hit a parked vehicle’s windshield. There were no injuries to bystanders that police are aware of. The well-being of the occupants of the target vehicle, however, is unknown, and police are working to identify them, as well as the shooters. Police are now asking the public for help. The target vehicle is described as a small, dark-coloured hatchback. It’s believed to have a burnt-out front driver-side headlight, silver rims, tinted rear windows and possible damage to the driver-side or rear window. The suspect vehicle is described as a small, black four-door car with dark-tinted windows. On Monday afternoon, police released images of both vehicles taken from CCTV footage.
