The Lethbridge & District Humane Society’s “Paws in the Pool” event is returning this weekend to give dogs and their owners a chance to get a break from the heat while raising money for the organization. With the final public swim at Westminster Outdoor Pool set for Saturday, the pool will go to the dogs on Sunday. The annual event raises money for the Humane Society. In addition to swimming in the pool, there’s also an off-leash area, a silent auction a barbecue and music. A minimum donation of $10 per dog is required and dogs must have proof of rabies vaccination. Paws in the Pool runs from 10 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, go here.
