Mount Royal University says its student portal is back up and running following a cyber attack in June. With the MyMRU portal restored, students can now register for courses, make payments and request confirmation of enrollment status. The school says there may be intermittent disruptions because of the large volume of users trying to log on. The Calgary university reported the cyber breach on June 18, and, weeks later, revealed an unauthorized person accessed and erased data from some university computer folders in a ransomware attack. More information on the recent cyber attack can be found on MRU’s website.
