First responders say a man has died following an incident involving construction equipment near the town of Bassano. The Calgary Fire Department (CFD) was dispatched to a farm northeast of the town. Officials say the man was using an excavator to dig a hole when the vehicle tipped and fell in. Despite life-saving efforts, the CFD said the man died of his injuries. There are no further details.
