Lotto Max ticket worth $15M purchased in Alberta—not Calgary or Edmonton

Somewhere in Alberta could be a new millionaire who doesn’t know it yet.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) said in a release issued Monday that someone won $15 million on a Lotto Max ticket for the June 5 draw.

According to the WCLC, the winning ticket was purchased outside Calgary and Edmonton.

Numbers to match are 11, 16, 27, 34, 40, 47 and 49.

Winners have one year to claim their prizes and can begin that process by calling 1-800-665-3313.

In Monday’s release, the WCLC noted, “Two Alberta tickets have won $15 million jackpot prizes in less than two weeks.”

A Lotto Max ticket worth $15 million was purchased somewhere in Calgary ahead of the May 26 draw.

Also, a ticket purchased somewhere in Edmonton won $100,000 on the May 26 Extra draw.
