A model from southern Alberta has been crowned Miss Universe Canada. Jaime VandenBerg took home the title this past weekend in Windsor, Ont. She was one of five finalists in the running. Vandenberg grew up in Coaldale before attending the University of Lethbridge to study philosophy. For the past four years, she has worked with Calgary’s Mode Models and has modelled around the globe. She will now represent the country in November at the Miss Universe Pageant in Thailand.
