Investigation is underway into an early morning shooting that took place in Tuscany Springs. Police responded to the community, discovering a man who was shot. Police say the victim was transported to hospital in stable condition. Derek, a neighbour, said at 12:23 a.m., he heard three loud pops, then heard someone say, “Help, help, help please help,” yelling outside. “We ran outside and found a young guy with gunshot wounds on the lawn across the street,” he added. He added that “one of the neighbours down the street, who is apparently a doctor, started attending to him as the rest of us called 911, so we backed off.” After speaking with neighbours, he said some camera footage shows a car dropping off two people who did the shooting. No other information was made available by police. It was the fifth shooting incident in Calgary in the last eight days. Anyone with information is asked to contact Calgary police at 403-266-1234.
