A member of the Lethbridge Hurricanes will be wearing the maple leaf this summer. ‘Canes goalie Leif Oaten has been named to Canada’s Hlinka Gretzky Cup roster. This will be Oaten’s second time representing Canada after winning gold at the 2025 U-17 Challenge. Oaten had a strong showing which saw him named to the tournament all-star team. Now he’ll be the first Hurricane to play at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup since Dylan Cozens in 2018. The tournament starts Monday and will run until next Saturday.
