A man who went out for a hike early Friday morning in Kananaskis Country has been found dead by a search and rescue team. RCMP say the 42-year-old was reported missing to Kananaskis Search and Rescue when he didn’t return after summiting Mount Baldy, located near Highway 40. Mounties say the hiker summited around 7a.m. and was expected to return by 10 a.m. Search and rescue dispatched to the scene located the man’s body, which was then taken to the medical examiner’s office in Calgary. RCMP say it’s believed the man’s death was due to an accident.
