Work on the Highway 3 twinning between Taber and Burdett is almost complete. Now drivers will start to be redirected towards the new highway. The redirecting of traffic will happen gradually. Eastbound traffic between Taber and Grassy Lake will use the new lanes. Once completed, the new highway will bypass Grassy Lake entirely. Crews are still putting the finishing touches on the highway. Permanent markings, lighting and signs still need to be installed.
